TO: County Agricultural Commissioners
SUBJECT: DRY RUN FOR METHYL BROMIDE FIELD FUMIGATION TRAINING
The Pesticide Enforcement Branch’s Regional Offices developed a field fumigation
training package which will be used to train county staff during the first two
weeks of January 2001.
We would like to get some input and feedback on this training to tailor it to
meet county staff expectations. Therefore, we have decided to invite county
staff to a "dry run" training session to assist us in evaluating this training
course.
The "dry run" training session is scheduled, as follows:
Date: November 29, 2000
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Location: California Department of Food and Agriculture
4th Floor, Annex Building
1220 N Street, Room A447
Sacramento, California
The deadline for reservations for this "dry run" training is November 22, 2000.
We have reserved 30 seats for county staff on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you, or an appropriate member of your staff, would like to participate in
this training, please contact the Senior Pesticide Use Specialist serving your
county to confirm your attendance. Please note that the Department of Pesticide
Regulation will not reimburse county staff travel expenses incurred for this
"dry run" training session.
If you have any questions, please contact the Senior Pesticide Use Specialist
serving your county.
Sincerely,
original signed by
David Duncan, Acting Chief
