SUBJECT:

2001 COUNTY REGISTRATION FEES SURVEY

The Department of Pesticide Regulation's Pesticide Enforcement Branch is conducting a survey of the 2001 registration fees that counties throughout California will charge pest control businesses and licensees, and their requirements for registration. The survey when completed will provide you with the updated information about each county's registrations and their requirements.

A copy of the 1999 County Registration Fees Chart is enclosed for you to review since a chart was not done for the year 2000. Please complete the enclosed questionnaire if you have changes and return it to the attention of the Licensing and Certification Unit, no later than Wednesday, January 31, 2001, or fax it to (916) 445-3907. Otherwise if we do not receive a response, we will keep it the same as the 1999 chart.

A summary of the data obtained from this survey will be mailed to your office as soon as it is completed.

Your assistance and cooperation in this matter are appreciated. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Richard Schuman, of my staff, at (916) 324-4469.

Sincerely,
