SUBJECT:  METAM-SODIUM APPLICATIONS, SUMMER 2003

The attached document provides information on metam-sodium applications
occurring this summer.  When high temperatures occur, the Department of 
Pesticide Regulation has recommended that county agricultural commissioners 
take the additional steps necessary to prevent incidents 
involving metam-sodium.

If you have any questions, please contact your senior pesticide use 
specialist liaison.
