How do I renew my Qualified Applicator Certificate?

Individual license/certificate renewal application

You will be mailed your renewal notice in July of the year your certificate expires. Refer to your QAC card for the expiration date. The renewal fee is $60.

Those certified in Category Q must have 8 hours of continuing education (CE) every 2 years, with a minimum of 2 hours on pesticide use laws and regulations.

I've changed my address or name, how do I update my information?

Notify DPR of an address or name change immediately by filling out and submitting the form below. DPR relies on its address files for notifying licensees and certificate holders of upcoming license renewal and important communications.

How do I get Continuing Education (CE) hours?

Do I have to keep track of my own CE hours?

Yes. DPR does not track CE hours you have obtained. You are required to keep your own CE records.
