2001-02 Pest Management Grant Summaries
Applicants submitted 26 proposals requesting funding under the Department of Pesticide Regulation's (DPR) Pest Management grants program for FY 2001-02. The Pest Management Advisory Committee (PMAC) evaluated and scored the proposals and recommended that 11 proposals be funded for a total of $338,695. DPR, in cooperation with the California Department of Food and Agriculture, established the PMAC in June 1992 to advise the Director on issues pertaining to reduced-risk pest management. The Director agreed with the PMAC recommendations and approved funding of six demonstration and five applied research projects.
