1995-2002 Pest Management Grants Program

Back to Pest Management Alliance Grants Program

DPR's Pest Management Grants program was established in 1995. The program ended in 2002 when budgetary constraints ended DPR grant funding. The program focused on one-year projects that addressed local or regional pest management challenges and offered promising reduced-risk alternatives to conventional pest management practices. Projects are searchable by category.

  • Applied research grants helped university researchers, private groups, and government entities develop new reduced-risk practices or refine existing practices.
  • Demonstration grants helped university researchers, private groups, non-profit organizations, government entities, and others address local or regional pest management challenges. Projects typically involve practical demonstration of reduced-risk practices on private or public property (e.g., farms, nurseries, schools, parklands).
