SACRAMENTO--Cal/EPA's Department of Pesticide Regulation will be moving to new offices next month.

DPR's three divisions will move in stages between August 6 and August 30. Anyone planning to visit a DPR Branch office during this period may wish to call in advance to confirm the Branch's location. A schedule detailing when each branch is set to move is available on DPR's Web site (www.cdpr.ca.gov). (The schedule is also below.)

The Department's new address will be 830 K Street, Sacramento 95814. Phone numbers will remain the same.

The Department will occupy two connected buildings along 9th Street between K and L Streets in downtown Sacramento. It is four blocks from its present site in the Legislative Office Building at 1020 N Street. The Department is moving because the Legislature is tearing down the O Street annex to the N Street building and will consolidate legislative staffers in a single building. (The annex has been declared vulnerable to earthquake damage.)

DPR expects to move into permanent quarters in 2001, when the California Environmental Protection Agency building is completed at 10th and I Streets in Sacramento. Ground was broken for that building in June.
