Trends in Use in Certain Biopesticides
Table10A. The reported pounds of biopesticides applied in California. Biopesticides include microorganisms and naturally occurring compounds, or compounds essentially identical to naturally occurring compounds, that are not toxic to the target pest (such as pheromones). Use is given for each year from 1991 to 1998. Use includes both agricultural and non-agricultural applications. Blank entries appear during years before the pesticide was registered. Data are from the Department of Pesticide Regulation's Pesticide Use Reports with probable errors removed.
