Back to Surface Water Protection ProgramThe Department of Pesticide Regulation maintains a Surface Water Database containing data from a wide variety of environmental monitoring studies designed to test for the presence or absence of pesticides in California surface waters. As part of DPR’s effort to provide public access to pesticide information, this site provides access to data from DPR’s Surface Water Database.

The monitoring data available through this web site were updated as of February 2006.
Data are currently provided in two formats, both of which will be updated regularly:
Database Summary Page: Summary of chemical analysis results by sampling site. Update of sampling sites files coming soon.
Complete Chemical Analysis Results
Downloadable files containing complete chemical analysis results from DPR’s Surface Water
Database.
Submitting Data to DPR’s Surface Water Database
DPR encourages submission of surface water monitoring data from any organization that conducts studies designed to monitor for the presence of pesticides in California surface water. See contact information below.
