The top 100 sites ranked by cumulative acres treated statewide in 2018 (all pesticides combined). Application counts (Number Apps) include only production agricultural pesticide uses. Acres treated totals (Acres) applies to production agricultural pesticide uses and those non-production-agricultural uses legally required to report acreage. Acres is a cumulative value calculated by summing the acres treated in each application even when the same site is treated more than once in a year (For example, if a one acre site is treated three times in a year with an individual active ingredient, it is counted as three acres treated). A zero value in acres treated or number of applications indicates all applications were non-production-agricultural uses. (Note that calculation methods for application and acre counts in this table were adjusted in 2016 to prevent over-counting when a product contains more than one active ingredient. Application and acre counts in this table should not be compared to the application and acre counts listed in Top 100 Sites tables created prior to 2016.) Text files of data are available.
