Background
For the research or commercial production of an agricultural plant commodity where pesticides are used- Pesticide handlers must receive pesticide safety training before they handle pesticides and
- Field workers must receive pesticide safety training before they enter a treated field.
- A qualified trainer must conduct this safety training. Persons that complete a DPR-approved program are authorized by DPR to train:
- Pesticide handler trainers; and
- Field worker trainers.
Criteria for an T2 program
The criteria that DPR established for these T2 programs can be requested from the Licensing and Certification Program.
