2000-01 Pest Management Grant Summaries
Applicants submitted 34 proposals requesting funding under the Department of Pesticide Regulation's (DPR) Pest Management grants program for FY 2000-01. The Pest Management Advisory Committee (PMAC) evaluated the proposals and by consensus, recommended that 19 proposals be funded for a total of $553,857. DPR, in cooperation with the California Department of Food and Agriculture, established the PMAC in June 1992 to advise the Director on issues pertaining to reduced-risk pest management. The Director agreed with the PMAC recommendations and approved funding of twelve demonstration and seven applied research projects.
