Tips to Reduce PUR Errors

To assist those who prefer to use paper forms to submit Pesticide Use Report (PUR) data, the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) has created a one-page document with tips in both English and Spanish for reducing errors, including:

• double-checking units of measure, product names, and registration numbers
• reporting the amount of product used before dilution
• measuring weight for dry products or volume for wet products

While most pesticide application information is submitted to the County Agricultural Commissioners (CAC) electronically through CalAgPermits.org, or through external providers, users may also submit paper copies of pesticide use reports by using PUR forms available from local CAC offices, or on DPR’s website.
