Pesticide Use Enforcement Program Standards Compendium Overview

In ENF letter 26-08, the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) provided an update to the organization of the Pesticide Use Enforcement Program Standards Compendium (the Compendium). DPR has finalized the Compendium Overview as described in that letter. The Overview replaces and supersedes portions of the Hearing Officer Roundtable Project and Hearing Officer Sourcebook. It also supersedes or replaces the acronym lists and glossary formerly in Compendium Volumes 1 and 3. Please have your staff begin using this reference immediately.

Chapter 1 describes the role of DPR and CACs, and the Compendium overall. Chapter 2 lists common abbreviations, acronyms, and initialisms. Chapter 3 serves as a glossary for the Compendium. An updated subject index is still under development.

Future changes to the Overview will be issued as a revision to the Compendium. Commissioners will be notified of the revisions in an Enforcement Letter. Suggestions for any corrections or other changes should be directed to DPR’s Enforcement Headquarters Branch.
