Updates to Compendium Volume 1

This letter announces the availability of, and summarizes updates and revisions to, Compendium Volume 1, General Administration of the Pesticide Use Enforcement Program, one of the volumes of the Pesticide Use Enforcement Program Standards Compendium. Volume 1 has been revised to:

• Reflect the Three Party Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Pesticide Episodic Reporting, Investigation, and Enforcement in the State of California (see ENF letter 25-03 for more details);
• Incorporate DPR’s Strategic Plan, new or changed laws or regulations, recent DPR determinations, and other guidance from ENF letters
• Update outdated or incorrect web address links;
• Modify Section numbers to allow for easier reference;
• Remove Sections 4 (Acronyms), and 5 (Useful Links) from Chapter 6; and
• Make other revisions for clarity and consistency.

Updates are enclosed and will also be available online. Please have your staff begin using the updated Volume as soon as possible.
