Civil Rights Policy and Discrimination Complaint Process

The Department of Pesticide Regulation is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in, or denied the benefits of, its services on the basis of race, national origin, ethnic group identification, ancestry, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, color, genetic information, medical condition, or mental or physical disability. DPR will not tolerate discrimination against any person(s) seeking to participate in, or receive the benefits of, any program or activity offered or conducted by DPR. Members of the public who believe they were unlawfully denied full and equal access to a DPR program or activity may file a civil rights complaint with DPR under this policy. A complaint may be filed against DPR including people or entities affiliated with DPR to provide benefits and services to members of the public. An affiliate of DPR includes contractors, subcontractors, and grantees. For questions regarding DPR’s Civil Rights Policy and/or Civil Rights Complaint Form, please contact DPR’s Civil Rights Officer.

The Civil Rights Policy and Civil Rights Complaint form should be used to file the complaint. All complaints should be filed with DPR’s Civil Rights Officer at EEOP@cdpr.ca.gov, 1001 I Street, MS 4B, Sacramento, CA 95814 or 916-445-3979.
