VOLUME 2 - LAWS AND REGULATIONS, PESTICIDE USE ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM STANDARDS COMPENDIUM - FIELD FUMIGATION EMISSIONS REGULATIONS REPLACEMENT PAGES

 

The Office of Administrative Law approved the amendment of Title 3, California Code of Regulations (3CCR) section 6452.2 "Fumigant Volatile Organic Compound Emission Limits". These new regulations became effective September 3, 2008 and are summarized below:

  • Establishes new VOC emission inventory benchmarks from May 1 to October 31 for the Ventura ozone nonattainment area, annually from 2009 through 2011.
  • VOC emissions from 2009 through 2011 for Ventura County now include total agricultural and structural VOC emissions as established for the other four ozone nonattainment areas in California
  • Lowest VOC emission limits for Ventura County become effective in 2012.
