Alliance Grants
What Was Our Alliance Grants Program?
Until 2026, the California Department of Pesticide Regulation’s (DPR’s) Alliance Grants Program provided funding to projects that promote or increase the implementation, expansion, and/or adoption of effective, proven, and affordable Integrated Pest Management (IPM) systems or practices that reduce risks to public health and the environment in agricultural, urban, or wildlands settings.
Beginning in 2026, the Alliance Grants Program was succeeded by DPR’s Sustainable Pest Management Grants Program.
Successful applications demonstrated strong partnerships, outreach, and/or an educational or training component to promote IPM and the broad application of the proposed IPM systems or practices. The most competitive Alliance Grant projects served as a model, had a high potential for wide adoption, and did not focus on conducting research.
