  • Urban Surface Water Protection Regulations (effective July 19, 2012)
    The regulations identify pesticides that have a high potential to contaminate surface water in outdoor nonagricultural settings, and require pest control businesses, including maintenance gardeners, that apply these pesticides to take actions to minimize that contamination.
  • Product Registration Review Process
    Methodology and procedures for reviewing pesticide product data submitted for registration. The review focuses on potential impacts of pesticide on surface water quality.
  • Dormant Spray Water Quality Initiative
    Describes DPR activities and publications on protecting surface water from dormant spray runoff.
  • Regulatory Issues
    New regulations and reevaluation notices to registrants to mitigate surface water contamination from pesticide use.
