SprayDays California Is Just Getting Started
It’s been one month since the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) launched SprayDays California—the first-of-its-kind statewide notification system that provides timely and accessible information about restricted material pesticide use in production agriculture.
Key Metrics So Far
Since its launch on March 24, 2025, SprayDays has received more than 7,000 visits to the website’s interactive map. And nearly 1,500 Californians have already signed up to receive direct email or text message notifications in advance of scheduled restricted material pesticide applications near an address or addresses of their choice. While SprayDays is available statewide, the highest number of users receiving notifications so far are in Monterey, Ventura, Fresno, Kern, and Santa Cruz counties.
