Enforcement Response to Pesticide Use Violations, Volume 6 of the Pesticide Use Enforcement Program Standards Compendium, describes how to break down a law or regulation into its elements, match evidence collected to the elements of the law or regulation, and determine the required enforcement response. Later chapters pertain to preparing a Notice of Proposed Action, participating in an administrative hearing, preparing the Hearing Officer’s Proposed Decision and the Commissioner’s Decision, and appeals to the Department. The contents of this Volume supersede guidance in earlier manuals and previous letters to the county agricultural commissioners.
