Pyrethroid Active Ingredient Grouping

For purposes of data requirements, the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) divided pyrethroid chemicals into three groups. Group I consists of the active ingredients: bioallethrin, d-allethrin, imiprothrin, phenothrin, prallethrin, resmethrin, and tetramethrin. Group II consists of two active ingredients: tau-fluvalinate and tralomethrin. Group III includes the following active ingredients: (s)-cypermethrin, beta-cyfluthrin, bifenthrin, cyfluthrin, cypermethrin, deltamethrin, esfenvalerate, fenpropathrin, gamma-cyhalothrin, lambda-cyhalothrin, and permethrin.

The following is a list of documents associated with the pyrethroid reevaluation. While it is DPR’s intent to maintain this list as time and resources allow, DPR cannot guarantee its accuracy or completeness. The documents are listed in reverse chronological order in order of date received, prepared or issued by DPR:
