Pyrethroid Active Ingredient Grouping

For purposes of data requirements, the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) divided pyrethroid chemicals into three groups. Group I consists of the active ingredients: bioallethrin, d-allethrin, imiprothrin, phenothrin, prallethrin, resmethrin, and tetramethrin. Group II consists of two active ingredients: tau-fluvalinate and tralomethrin. Group III includes the following active ingredients: (s)-cypermethrin, beta-cyfluthrin, bifenthrin, cyfluthrin, cypermethrin, deltamethrin, esfenvalerate, fenpropathrin, gamma-cyhalothrin, lambda-cyhalothrin, and permethrin.

The following is a list of documents associated with the pyrethroid reevaluation. While it is DPR’s intent to maintain this list as time and resources allow, DPR cannot guarantee its accuracy or completeness.
