Environmental Justice Advisory Committee (EJAC)
The Department of Pesticide Regulation’s (DPR’s) Environmental Justice Advisory Committee (EJAC) will support the department’s inclusion and consideration of diverse perspectives to inform its decision-making processes and foster equitable outcomes for communities most impacted by pest management decisions. This advisory committee, established by AB 652, is tasked with advising DPR on policies and programs that address environmental justice concerns – particularly those of communities living in areas of high pesticide use.
Apply to be an EJAC Member! Nomination Period Open Through June 30, 2025
Are you interested in working collaboratively to advise DPR on ways to incorporate environmental justice considerations into its programs and policies and on how to improve DPR’s engagement with communities with the most significant exposure to pesticides?
