Strategic Planning
DPR’s conducts strategic planning to guide action-oriented priorities and objectives to advance its mission to protect people and the environment. DPR released a 2024-2028 Strategic Plan in December 2024. This plan includes DPR’s mission, vision, values, and commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and goals and objectives to guide our work through 2028.
Strategic Plan Progress Update
This 2026 Strategic Plan Progress Update summarizes the work completed as of Quarter 1 of 2026, describes progress in each of the four strategic goals, and highlights milestones achieved since adoption of the plan. By providing clear and accessible updates, the department reinforces its commitment to transparency and accountability while enabling interested parties to track progress and understand how strategic priorities are being advanced.
