Back to 2000 Enforcement Branch Letters
July 25, 2000
ENF 2000-027
Amended
TO: County Agricultural Commissioners
SUBJECT: ADMINISTRATIVE CIVIL PENALTY TRAINING
This amendment reflects a date change for Advocate Training in Los Angeles in January 2001 (see page 2), and the times of each training session.
The Department of Pesticide Regulation has contracted Richard Guarino, Ph.D., private consultant, to conduct training sessions for advocates and hearing officers. Each training session will consist of a two-day course. The curriculum is designed for both beginner and experienced advocates and hearing officers. We have limited the class size to a maximum of 20 people to provide the instructor time for interactive exercises and scenarios and allow time for questions.
When you make reservations, please be prepared to provide the individual's level of experience and assigned duties in pesticide use enforcement. Please see the following sites and dates for advocate and hearing officer training sessions.
