This informal, online bulletin from the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) appears periodically. Our goal is to keep interested parties up to date on practical information, regulatory developments and other announcements.

ANNUAL VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUND EMISSIONS INVENTORY REPORT
This report contains emission information based on 1990-2010 pesticide use data for five areas in California that do not meet the federal Clean Air Act.

2011 PESTICIDE CONTAMINATION PREVENTION ACT STATUS REPORT
This annual report of potential ground water contaminants lists active ingredients that exceed mobility and persistence thresholds.

PMAC MEETING SCHEDULED
Hold the date: Our Pest Management Advisory Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 10. The meeting, which will be Webcast, will be devoted to reviewing Pest Management Alliance Grant applications. The agenda will be posted April 30.

REMINDER: IPM INNOVATOR AWARD NOMINATIONS SOUGHT
The deadline for 2012 IPM Innovator Award nominations is 5 p.m. May 31. These awards are presented to organizations that have demonstrated their dedication to integrated pest management through the development and/or promotion of innovative methods for addressing agricultural and urban pest management challenges.
